YOUNG SILKIE CREST PHOTOS

Great photos! Do you any photos of them around 3-4 months of age to see how the crests have progressed?😊

Hi. Dose anyone have any ides on how to do up my silkies crest she keeps on getting my small elelasics out I’m not sure what to do. Thanks.
I trim mine just around the eyes as needed. I have heard some people use two elastics like little pony tails, can stay in better. Problem with the small elastics is they can come off and the birds may eat them. 🙂

I love hatching my own silkies because I know where they are coming from, but I always have a hard time determining the sex of my silkies in particular! You'd think that you'd get better with time, and I have, but silkies always amaze me with how they can hide their genders for such a long time! 🙃

The grey and partridge are from last Saturday and they were April chicks. My buff is a march chick and the last picture from her was in April or may
