Young silkies going broody?

Will a silkie that just started to lay like a month ago, go broody when it starts to get warmer this year?

They go broody whenever they feel like it, there's no telling

Young pullets will often go broody, but unfortunately that doesn't mean they will be GOOD broodies. Some are...some aren't...you'll have to watch them to make sure they tend to the eggs. I think the best broodies are near a year old...or older.
