My most developed MW tom, hatched 4/30 is starting to strut and color up and the end of his snood is sort of flat and dried scabby looking because he bites it when it dangles by his mouth. Do they all do this?

Does it look like dry pox? Maybe he is trying to itch it. My two MW males of similar age are getting over very mild dry pox and both had lesions on the tips of their snoods.

Actually I think the real problem is Patty has NC turkeys in Calf. and not feeding them properly. No Collards, neck bones that sort of thing. I bet and I'm sure this will considered flaming - but Patty doesn't have a pickup truck with a gun rack. They just miss home.

We got some chickens from her and you should see them. "ewww poo", sunglasses, they even demanded direct tv and cell phones.

Hey! My truck ain't no Californy truck! It's a 78 Dodge camper special... painted green and tan and it has about twenty feed sacks full of poultry pen rakin's in the back. Just THAT ALONE ought to make them feel at home...
