Our tom turkey has developed two problems at the same time. We don't know if they are related. His feces became quite green and runny. thinking it could be parasites or bacteria we isolated him in case it was serious then added garlic to his water and sprayed his throat with colloidal silver. His feces although still a little green are relatively normal again. At the same time his snood started to develop a kind of a brown scab. There is a large hard patch where his snood sits on his beak and the tip of his snood has also become brown and hard. It is clearly bothering him because he thrashes his head around. It seemed(s) to be spreading as there are some small patches on the top of his snood. We have been treating it with colloidal silver and tea tree oil thinking it might be fungal. Has anyone seen anything like this? Has anyone successfully treated it? Any ideas would be welcome.

Stop the garlic, it is poisonous to poultry. Stop all the treatments you are giving. The green poop is normal whe they first get green grass in the spring. The FDA does not approve of the use of colloidal silver because it has been proven by them and the Mayo clinic to not be beneficial.
