Young Turkeys Gobbling

I have some 3-month-old turkeys starting to gobble, which I've never had them do before. I know both sexes strut as poults, but is gobbling a solely male thing when they're poults?

I have never had a hen gobble ever at any age. You can search the Internet and find all kinds of claims of hens gobbling.

My young toms rarely gobble due to the well deserved fear that they may incur the wrath of older toms.

I've seen a few videos of hens gobbling, but I haven't had that happen with pet turkeys or wild turkeys. I assumed the videos were fake in some way.
