Hi we recently moved to a place that had a chicken coop,we brought 7 new baby chicks with us to there new home and have built them a rather generous sized chicken run. The chickens are now about 19 weeks old and one has been laying eggs almost daily since she turned 16 weeks. The kids love there chickens and spend time with them every day.

Glad you could join the flock! Sounds like you have some great layers there. Chickens are great for getting the kids out in the fresh air and learning how to care for animals and their needs. Great to read your kids are enjoying them.
