Your 2025 Garden

Our new commercial grade grow lights finally came today. By mid week the table will be setup that will hold 9 10"x20" trays of 6packs for seedlings. Not getting ripped off again this year with varieties of plants that just don't do well in this area. I'll plant enough tomatoes for our canning needs again only this time every variety is highly disease resistant to viral diseases as well as bacterial and fungus.

I replaced my last 3 fluorescent grow lights with LEDs. I now have 8 lights hooked up to a timer and a fan. The seedlings will also get light from the window.
Now those bare seedling shelves are saying, "Plant seeds! Plant seeds!" 🪴
I made sure to get the LED grow lights. One neat thing is that the color of the light can be adjusted to the stage of the seedlings. I'm going out soon for more seed starting mix.

I planted 3 kinds of beans in a single row late summer for a fall crop last year and none germinated. I can't believe I got 3 bad packages of seed. I'm doing a germ test this year of all my bean seed in a controlled environment without extremes. Last year we had 3-4 days of extreme heat after I planted. I can't believe that the heat was the culprit either. That is something that has never happened before.
