Pics
Due to it being very hot, l went to the garden early. Picked more squash and tomatoes and wrapped bean vines. Marigolds are getting bushy!

Greenbeans have almost filled their trellis and I saw a couple blooms.

I am going to attempt to trellis some of the foliage of the sweet potatoes.
We will see how that goes. Zucchini in the background.

I put 3 different kinds of zucchini seeds in wet paper towels to sprout them. When I see evidence of sprouting, I'm going to plant them. I have the bed weeded, and I've been watering it.

We had our weekly 1/8" of rain today.:hmm They're talking about substantial amounts of rain at the end of the week. So far, it's just a glimmer in the meteorologist's eye.

It all looks so neat, like an English country garden.

Today's haul.

I see frass on the zucchini stalks, borers are killing the plants. I'll probably just pull them before I leave on vacation.

Last year I brought the squash vines into the coop, and split open the stalks to expose the borers. What excitement, a feast!
