My eggplant seed didn't germinate so I'll get some new seed. The package was very old so no big loss.

My experience with eggplant seeds is they can take longer to germinate than tomato seeds.

As do peppers for me. My tomatoes are large enough to be planted outside now so if the eggplant were going to germinate they have had time I think.

My eggplant seed usually germinate in 10 to 14 days just like the peppers do. But I have had some of both take as long as a month.

If I were to hire a fast talking friend to talk to mine would they grow faster..... Inquiring minds need to know.

I'm going to leave mine for now. I'll still plant some fresh seed. I think they have had at least 21 days now. At least some of every thing else has come up except for some Carolina Reaper peppers.

I've got this wild idea of mixing a tiny bit of Carolina Reaper powder with some smoked paprika powder and put the Devil in Deviled Eggs.

What would happen if a bell pepper was cross pollinated with a Carolina Reaper? That might be a stir fry veggie that would make curly hair without a perm.
