Your 2025 Garden

Pots in the green house are all planted. About 60 tomatoes, some other stuff. It was warm up there while I was in there, as the sun was shining. As long as we have some sunshine, it'll be nice in there.

I stuck the thermometer in one pot... 72 ° in the dirt. It won't stay that warm, but I don't know how quickly it cools off.
The more you have in there, the better it will hold heat.

This is usually how I get my "seed" potatoes and sweet potatoes! This year, I did purchase some actual seed potatoes, I got red skinned new potatoes and "all blue" potato seeds....normally, I just plant whatever I have forgotten to cook after purchasing them from the grocery store, lol. My yellow-skinned new potatoes are "Forgotten and found seeds" from my bestie's house, lol.
Back in Oklahoma I've got reds started because I like salt taters, Yukon gold for mashers, kennebeck for fries. I was thinking of planting russets for baking but when they're only $3.59 for 10 pounds when they're high at the grocery, it's hard to justify even when they take no garden space from anything else because I use feed bags for growing.

I have some cauliflower sprouting. I don't like cauliflower. I don't know how to grow cauliflower. I have no idea when to plant cauliflower, and I think it might be sensitive to transplanting. As you can see I'm very organized with gardening 😌
Cauliflower is a cold tolerant plant like cabbage. I transplant it the first of May here. Our normal last frost is the last weekend of May.

I have not found cauliflower to be sensitive to transplanting. I have found it to no really like hot weather.

Cauliflower can be eaten raw or cooked. Perhaps try the other way if you don't like it one way. There is a big difference in texture and taste between raw and cooked.

I’m planning squash for this year and I’m not super keen on squash so I can relate. 😅

You're a few days to a week ahead of the Finger Lakes.
