I have never had rhubarb. I must also be in non-rhubard territory. I don't think I've ever seen it in the grocery store or grown in a home garden. I might have seen it in those bagged starts at a big box store.
Interesting looking plant. Hope ya'll enjoy!
We have had alot of rain this week. I haven't been able to do anything in the garden. 3 tornados touch down in my county. No injuries and thankfully we have no damage. May get another storm this evening. It needs to dry up. I'm going to check the garden today.
We are now eating fresh broccoli and cabbage from our garden. No eggplant this year. We are both burning the candles from both ends and they seem to be getting dimmer.
Going to try an experiment today along the lines of "Waste Not, Want Not". We have been harvesting a butter stem broccoli and the leaves and their stems seems to be very tender. Going to cook some leaves like greens today with stems in the mix. Nothing to lose and everything to gain for the freezer.
