Your 2025 Garden

I cheated. It was already on the plant when I bought the plant. It wasn't ripe at that time. I'm amazed that the birds haven't gotten it yet.
Anyone else paint strawberry-sized stones red and scatter them in your strawberry bed as a foil? It's supposed to teach the birds not to peck at things in that area just because they're red. I don't know if it actually works or not.🪶

Picked a few more tomatoes. Black Krims this time. Wrapped some beans runners up the trellis. I have some small yellow squash and zucchini forming. Peppers are showing lots of flowers and a few small fruit. So far the sweet potato plants look good.

Something always comes up in the compost bin. This year we have a purple coneflower. After it blooms I will transplant it. They always attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

I’ve seen some raspberry plants in my neighborhood but they’re just starting to bloom.

I’ve heard of this trick but the strawberry plants never produced, and this year they died over the winter. 😒

I’m trying to grow wild strawberries from seed to replace them, hoping those are hardier! 🙏
