Anyone grow yellow "wax" beans anymore? Way back when I was a wee lass, Mom grew more of these than the green ones. I don't really see them being grown nowadays.

First melon is coming along nicely. I believe from the size and shape, it's probably a Tommy Apple. Tuscan has more defined ribs and is supposedly smaller. Golden Jenny is more round.
When it's ready, I'll carefully wade into the patch and trace the vine back to its marker to find out for sure. They're all in the same bed. The vines are all healthy and I don't want to go in there now and risk breaking anything and create an opening for any nasties or lose any melons with my unnecessary clumsiness.

All my little melons disappeared, totally. I suspect a raccoon.
