This is Sultan. He is an 18 week old sultan rooster. He is really cute, and he makes trill sounds, and he looks kinda funny as well.View attachment 3924119

Sultan looks like if my father-in-law was a bird…white hair mullet and all!

Lady Gaga, my serama rooster. 1 year old and a couple of months at the time of his passing (taken by a fox while out on free range). He was a pretty special guy. He was the perfect mix of friendly, but yet still way more interested in caring for his hens. Excellent group leader. Handled his first time caring for chicks in his group at 6 months old like a champ, at a similar age where my LF cockerels still behave like total teenagers. I wouldn't be surprised if he put himself between the fox and his hens, he was too good a flier (and very alert) to miss a fox during the day. I thought he was gorgeous as well, but that just might be my bias.

It's been close to a month since his passing, but I don't think I've realised it yet
