Hi All Of You Helpful People,

I have two incubators completely full of eggs right now. One is going to be ready to be candled on Friday. When you have a full incubator, do you take all of the eggs out at once and candle them or do you do a few at a time? Which way is easiest on the eggs and the incubator temperature?

Thanks!

too keep the temps and humidity right i candle them one by one too lid on

I use a flash light, open the bator, and go egg to egg. About 5 min per 30-60 to take out all the bads on day 14.

If they are from my birds I check them around day 14 too. If I bought them and had them shipped I like to check after a week just to see if it was worth the trouble of buying them. I never had any problems letting them cool a bit. A hen gets off the nest longer than it takes me to take a peek.
