Do you supplement your chickens' diet with greens?

I do fresh spinach, kale, cabbage in the winter

I give my girls lots of snack variety carrots, grapes, raisins, bread, Mealworms, scratch, cheese,...

All in moderation I do the snacks about an hour before roost time, they love it , I call it "power hour"

When I go to a salad bar I always look at it and think they would have so much fun here..... :lau

:lau I've thought that before too
 
There's a common weed Chickweed, or Stellaria, that they love. It stays green all winter here, is tender and prolific and you can pull it up by the handfuls. My chickens love it! When in bloom, the kind we have here has tiny star shaped white flowers. You can eat it too, it's great in salads.
