To the left is Nala, I think 1 year old, and we don't know her breed. To the right is Oreo, About 1 year old, and again no idea what her breed is.
Here is my cat waffle and she is in the sink lol, she is i think 2 years old, and no idea what breed.
Here is the big and majestic Jasper, he is about 11 years old, and he is an Egyptian Mao.
Here is Zoe (pronounced zoey), she is 3 years old, and a is tortiseshell.
This is chip, no idea how old he is, and he is a pomerian, poodle mix.
Here is Sandy, I think 2 or 3 years old, and she is a boxer.
Also we have another dog named hunter and he is a english setter but i dont have any photos of him. But thanks for letting me show off my animals! lol.
This is Athena. She is a calico American Shorthair. She's 11 years old now and getting to be a bit of an old lady. We brought her home as a tiny kitten when my husband and I were engaged.
This is Pearl. She's about 2 years old, half Himalayan (Himalayan mom and neighborhood tom father). She's my 6 year old daughter's cat. Pearl adores my daughter. She ignores everyone else and acts very skittish, but she sleeps on my daughter's pillow and comes whenever she calls her name. Silly thing.
And my Malcolm. I rescued him from the animal shelter the day they planned on putting him down. We adore him. He's a great mouser and very affectionate and cuddley. He's spoiled rotten. As you can tell ....
this is Ginger. I have had her since middle school. She is 13 years old. She doesn't like children. She will deal with mine but others she will run and hide.
I'll have to take some updated pics of my cats but here are my dogs.
This is Dekker my 5 year old Chihuahua that I inherited from my grandpa a few months ago. Since he had a perverted name when I got him I named him after my favorite author Ted Dekker.
This is Sterling and he is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix that I inherited with Dekker. I planed on rehoming him but I fell in love with him. He is named after a character in one of Ted Dekker's books.
This is my black lab and beagle mix Lizzie, and she's 13. I love her so much and she's not doing that well right now. She's having really bad bladder issues, is almost blind and has very little hearing left. But she's still my baby
. We got her from a foster home because she was a stray. She really is an excellent dog. My mom babysits kids, and when she was younger she'd let them climb all over her and yank her tail/ears without even looking at them. They could take toys off her, get in her face while eating, and do anything possible to provoke a dog into biting. But she just didn't care.
This is my total mutt Juddy. I named him when I was really little, so don't judge. He's 10, and still runs around and plays just like my 1 year old dog does. He was neglected and abused as a puppy (we got him when he was aroun 9 months) and we later found out that the shelter he came from was shut down because they were neglecting the animals there. So when we saw him at a local PETCO dog adoption thing, we felt so bad for him. He peed in his cage, was shaking so bad, was all skin and bones, was drooling, and it was written all over his face the hard life he had. So we brought him home, and he had fleas and ticks. After we got rid of those, we found he was so scared of EVERYTHING. We would flush the toilet, and he would make a run for behind the couch and stay there for a while. He HATED my dad and was extremely afraid of men in particular. He even snapped at my dad a few times. Now, he is the best dog anyone could ask for. He's a total baby, but the good kind. He's the most obedient dog, and will never not obey. Ever. He doesn't like kids younger than 4 really but if they are bothering him, he doesn't growl or snap. He gets up and calmly walks up to the bedroom where his bed is and lays down for a little. I'm so glad we adopted Juddy, because if we didn't, he honestly could have died. He's probably the best dog I've ever had, and what makes him the best is that he was a total diamond in the rough, an angel that needed picked up and rescued.
And this is Baby Chumpskin. He was sold as a black lab, but he's a black lab pitbull mix. We bought him from a woman who claimed that her neighbor had had a litter of puppies but went into the hospital and gave them to her to sell. When we got Chumpy, she said they lived outside and just around her farm. He had a few fleas and ticks, but we figured a quick bath in flea shampoo could fix that. When we got home, we noticed a different problem. He had little white worms coming from his behind. We took him to the vet and got medicine, no big deal. They were gone in a week. The next week, we found a new problem. Mange. We rushed him to the vet, but the vet said it was a non contagious mange that he was born with, and it went away in about a month. Next, we found out that the woman who sold him to us is a backyard breeder with just kennels upon kennels of puppies. So Chumpy was actually a rescue dog in a way. He's a year old now and the spunkiest dog we've ever had. He's had some training issues that were fixed with Obedience School (which he graduated from last Wednesday) but he's a pretty cool dog. There's no other name really that fits his personality than Chumpy. Actually, in dog school, all the dog's names were like "Chancey" and "Merlin" and then they (instructors) were like "Um, how do you pronounce his name?".
I'm so blessed to have the dogs that I do and wouldn't trade them for the world.
