Your Experience With Black-Faced White Spanish?

I don't want to open a can of worms here about how many of you dislike the breed for its clown-like looks, but I WOULD like to know what experience anyone has had with Black-Faced White Spanish as to temperament, health, and egg productivity.

I have a chance to get three purebred hens, each eight months old and just coming into laying.

I've heard they're flighty and disdain human contact, but I can live with that.

Hmmmm, they are beautiful birds. They (most) lay jumbo sized white eggs, too. I had a flock, but sold them just at point of lay. They were just too flighty for me.

I have chicks of the bantam WFBS variety. They are vigorous, growing and fast! They don't like to be held at this point.

You mean White Faced Black Spanish right? I always thought they were ugly. I got a pair last year and I liked them very much. They were so hardy and beautiful! They were from a hatchery so they had very little of the White face. They were really pretty!
