Your Flock and Wildlife

Hi, I wanted to make a thread where you can tell about wildlife (especially other birds) interacting with your flock. Remember, The funnier the better!

Here is a little story.
Many times, a little sparrow will fly down near my chickens while they are free ranging when my flock starts chasing the poor bird. But the sparrow will just fly up to a low branch of a tree, and out of curiosity, will just fly back down being chased again. and the bird keeps doing this until it eventually flew away.

My magpies by my house have learned to look for broody hens so they can take the eggs or chicks. No joke, they've taken bantam chicks before that were a few days old.

The chickens quite regularly free range next to elk and deer easily twenty times their size.

Wow, magpies are very smart. I've heard they are some of the smartest birds.
