Your Hoovers story? Spec. Small order experiences and COVID delivery times

Very interesting/confusing! Glad they are doing well! I know that folks in my area that ordered 15 directly from Hoover's (back when 15 was an option) were shipped in Feb with no heat pack. I wish they were more transparent and up front about how things are being shipped. I ended up adding 5 more to my order because I was too nervous shipping 15. I would've much rather kept it at just 15 with a heat pack, but when I emailed with questions a month ago it wasn't even offered. I wonder if the TSC orders are shipped directly from Hoovers? Did they tracking show they came from Iowa? (Or is it Ohio? I forget )
I spoke with Hoover’s about my order to be sure the chicks received the Marek’s vaccine. They were able to tell me when my chicks would ship out. They shipped from Hoover’s it was a very well thought out box for shipping early March. I also just received a shipment from Greenfire Farm and they also had lined the sides of the box, placed heat packs and closed off all but a few air holes.

I hope to receive my chicks today and they better wow me to compensate for Hoover’s customer service. They sent my shipping notice with NO tracking number stating they were no longer providing it because postal service updates were not necessarily timely or accurate. (Really? You couldn’t just provide it with that footnote?) Post office won’t even pretend to help without tracking number. I’ve called Hoover’s the last two days and just get a “we’re in a training or meeting - leave a message” no matter what time of day I’m calling. Pre-lunch, lunch hour, post lunch, an hour before closing - you get the picture. All their messages cheerily ask you to leave a message. I did that multiple time back in Feb trying to update an order and never got a call back. I feel like I’m dealing with the DMV. As if ordering chicks isn’t stressful enough...

Thatsba bit odd. Mine that came today had a tracking number. Just wasn't updates hardly at all

Mine came today, all healthy, but they substitutes one of my expensive ones with another of my cheapest ones, so I'm rather irked about that since it was like 2 bucks difference
