Your oldest late starter..(buttons)

How long have you had to wait for a late starter button hen to lay eggs?
I've got one who cinnamon hen who hatched in early Feb thats still procrastinating...
And yes she is a 'she', not a secret 'he' lol

By that age, I would be considering what's keeping her from laying?

Is she stressed? Does she pace her cage or does she have lots of hiding spots? Does she have a nest? I use flower pots turned on their sides and other such items. I also put loose grass in their cages as they like to cover their eggs with grass strands. Is her diet complete? Is she getting enough calcium and vitamins? Is she getting enough hours of sunlight everyday? If not try giving her some supplimental lighting.

Yup, i can tick everything off that list.
She is a perfectly healthy happy lil button. She's just not laying eggs.
One of her sisters was a late starter too but she's been laying for about a month or so now.

I have the same problem, I also have a Cinnamon female and she was hatched oh ... around June or something .. not laying!

Does she have her own enclosure? I had a female that didn't lay for a long time. She was in the same pen as her sister, who was already laying. I took her out and put her in her own pen, gave her some fortified baby cereal and she started laying.

Oooh I have the same problem with my Button hatched in June. All boxes ticked and still no eggs
