Your Quail's Names

Please post your quail's names and why they are called that

I usually just call a cage by it's color as a whole and don't name them individually.
Do you name yours?

I keep quail for fun and eggs, and I've never had more than 20 birds at a time. I keep only the hens. All the females get names, but I stopped naming the males pretty early on (makes it much harder for me to kill them ). Mostly nature names, older names, book characters, foods and such.

Right now it's just the six—Brandy (for her color), Jane (wild-type, "plain Jane"), Opal (was a pearl, but molted in silvery), Betty (just a sweet gal), Janet ("dammit, Janet"), and Katniss (she's a survivor).
