Your thought on mixed breeds

What are your thoughts on mixed breed chickens or chicks would you ever buy some why or why not ?? Do you prefer purebred or mixed

I prefer pure breeds since I want to know exactly what I am getting.

But, there isn't anything wrong with barnyard mixes. Some people like the fact that they come in all sorts of colors and patterns.

I like breeding my own mixed breeds. I've started with pure bred hatchery stock and mixed it up with them. I'm the kind of person who doesn't want to have things that look just like everyone else's. I have unique birds, they make me very happy.
