Just called Mt Healthy to inquire about their ducks, using the term "waterfowl" because I had thought they had geese too. The lady seemed to have no clue about what I was trying to inquire about because she thought this "waterfowl" was a duck breed.
Oh well.

I had to stifle a laugh through the phone because I found this rather funny. Just thought I'd share.

I posted this in Random Ramblings because it was very off-topic and sort of funny to me.

hhahaha....Stuff like that really does make me wonder how much training or knowege a person needs to get a job...

I recently phoned a lady to book in some ducks for an auction...Amoungst other issues - I did ask for a reserve to be placed on them which wasnt recorded-

So lucky on the day they sold very well... Anyway- back to the booking in part...I said I have some Indian Runner ducks for sale- 1 Duck and 1 drake.... So she asks me how old they are and if I am sure of the sex......

YES- I told her and explained...And she goes on to say they will be listed as Indian Runner waterfowl jsut in case i was wrong.... The duck and drake were 8 months and 4 months old.... 1 was quacking an the other had a curl on its tail !!

I got the catalouge the day of the sale and see two listing for Indian Game Runner
