My 8 2 week yr old babies went in the garden for the first time today... SO CUTE WE COULDNT BREATHE!!!
Anyways as they were pecking around we started thinking about when the appropriate time is to give them greens...
I am a begginer chick-a-holic and I need to know when a good time is to start feeding them greens??

I wait until 12 weeks or so but it is a personal choice. When you do feed them food other then chick feed make sure they have some sort of grit. I put my 6+ week olds in a pen on grass during the day and they "free range and eat grass and bugs a few times a week. They love it! Have fun with the new chicks!
