Cyn the pain means it is working and every other day is what they did for me for my arm. Just move slow and steady and when he shows pain stop. That is what they did with me and it took a year to use my arm. But I can use my arm it hurts but I can use it.

I so appreciate all the encouragement and the love you've all shown for a sweet rooster you haven't even met. I'm headed to bed here soon and it makes me feel good that there are so many wonderful, caring people who are pulling for Zane.

He lives in a dog kennel at night, so a hen cant live with him. I'll have to see if we can make him a small doghouse sized place to stay, flat on the ground, so he and a hen can live together. He'd like that, I'm sure. Gypsy goes in the separation pen with him when I allow her in-she eats all his food, LOL.

I dont have any, really. I have a group who are right at laying age, then my Blue Orp two and the two Delawares. Wonder if Shadow, my banty Cochin would tolerate him. Hmm. She's attached at the hip to Panda, Zane's daughter, and the GLW pullet. Uh, oh, the dog house idea is growing by the minute, LOL. I'll have to think on it. If we decide to just allow Zane to live out his life, as long as he has stimulation and seems interested in life, then we'll have to make some sort of permanent arrangement for him.
