DH strolled around the property with that rooster in his arms, showing him things, picking him things to eat. Zane perked up considerably after that and was moving himself all around the dog kennel and last I saw him, he was balanced on his wings with his head in his feed bowl, eating his heart out. I swear, I really thought he was going to that Great Roost in the Sky before the end of the day after what I saw this morning! Good thing DH loves him so much and is willing to take the time to try to keep Zane's spirits up. It truly is a rollercoaster ride, like S.C. said.

Oh Cyn....im glad to hear Zane is in better spirits! You have a wonderfull DH to help Zane so much.

Believe me, if we lose Zane, my tears won't be the only ones flowing. He loves Zane.

This is what I hope to see again one day soon, the real Zane, my precious Hawkeye's son, the one who should be the "heir to the throne". I had to remind myself again...and I just realized that the girl in the second pic is my sweet Lorelei.

wow, what an emotional day...like the previous ones...I was so afraid we would get bad news on Lorelei then Zane but goodness, I believe they will both pull through this!!

Way to go Tom!!! You are lucky to have such a caring dh. Keep the faith, too many are pulling for you all.
