So I noticed a white finch on my roof yesterday and obviously shouldn't be flying around outside in central Illinois. So I got a ladder and caught it. It has a broken leg that I noticed right before I grabbed it. Good thing I got it before something else. It was banded so I'm guess someone used it in a pen with a few others to tell the difference. Heres a picture and I would like to know if it's female or make and a little about keeping them. I plan to get another of the opposite sex.
