My 6 month old Lt Brahma Zeus, who loves to be petted, he will actually rest his head on me waiting for some love.

He is also afraid of his own shadow, hasn't crowed, he is unsure of himself and everryything around him, he's not aggressive.

He is my sweet boy, who I thought was a girl until a few weeks ago lol
I hatched him myself

I love the photos! :D

The first one looks like his eyes are positioned on the front of his face rather than the side.

He really seems to love those wattle scratches!

I also have a super wussy Cockerel (almost a Rooster) who has himself at the centre of attention!

I mean, my boy is great though. He's very gentle with the ladies and he's never once had a go at me. He doesn't generally like being handled but when there is food on the go, he's straight over getting first pick for himself from my hand :lau

Too funny! This is Lilly... she is 5 months old.. she sounds the same as him.. she begs for hugs.. I will lean over her and hug her and she will put her head in my shirt and do the little head shake they do under mama.. she can be his secret girlfriend ;)View attachment 1876334
That is too funny she reminds me of my brahma as soon as you pull out the phone it's like they know hey pic and then always give the same looking right at the camera pose

Shes really pretty

Thank you! Aren’t the Light Brahmas so pretty!? I think she is my most gorgeous chicken!

It was one of my must have breeds
The first one I had I Hatched and she was the only one in the incubator
My Josie she was super attached to me
As like with all my chickens they spend thr first few months in my home office with me
Well Josie would follow me to the bathroom or anywhere I was
If I went downstairs to get a drink she would stand at the top of the stairs yelling

She would sit on my sewing machine when I sewed or on my fabric etc etc
And she was getting biiiiig and I knew it was time to put her outside with her others
She joined the flock with 5 of my Bantams I hatched later on
The very next week a racoon got into coop 3 times and killed my josie and 3of my bantma.
My polish
Cuckoo maran and my black bantam cochin
And in another coop my 2 duccle\black cochin mix from my own hen and roo. First eggs I ever Hatched myself
I was devastated

It took me a a few months before I even thought of getting more chickens

I still had 4 ducks my very first chicken. Sally that I ever owned and 2of the 5 bantmans I hatched (both roos)

So a light brahma was on the top of my list
I ordered hatching eggs from Meyers and later ordered my dark brahma from my local agway

And now I am in love with the breee

Aaww, that is so sad! I’m so sorry that happened :hugs... when I hear these stories it breaks my heart :(... sweet innocent chickens just minding their own business.. makes me  :hit

Thank you
It is one of those live and learn things I went through every nook and cranny of the coop after and made sure I plugged up all the places it got in
And got a have a heart trap and caught him the first night I put it out

That was in the fall I caught one this spring too haven't had an issue since

Oh, well that’s good to hear! I may get a trap as well.. we have opossums that come and poop all over my back porch.. I don’t mind them eating all the bugs but I am building an outdoor birdcage for my parakeets and I don’t want them being harassed all night...
