hi all , just recently joined , had so much interesting reading , im setting some eggs in a couple of days , just read a link as a op asked about temps , the link says if using a low voltage dimmer system to set temp, if the room temp fluctuates so will the incy ! would the room temp affect the dimmer switch? i had a bad hatch as i moved my incy , homemade to what i thought was a stable room , my conservatory , and low and behold we had two hotter days and my temp spiked! and i think killed the two i had out of 12, as ten werent viable . shipped eggs!
now ive reinsulated the exterior of the bator and made the vision panel smaller. so as to eliminate exterior temp affects,im more hopefull on my second hatch, im getting some mixed eggs tomorrow.
thanks again all of you contribitors ive found your attitudes and helpfullness exceptionally refreshing.
ziggy.
