I have that SAME problem, so I am not using my cabinet to do the hatching.
I have a bowl of warm water that I dab or drip (avoiding its beak and drowning it) water on it to soften the membrane and then work it out slowly. You don't want to just rip the shell off, it pulls off their down and OW!!!!
If they are really gummy, I give them a good bath in warm water paper towel dry them off and put them in the bator/hatcher again to finish drying and fluffing. If you know that is what is happening, reach in quickly and pull the chick out and do this. You don't want to shrink wrap any of the other chicks who are hatching.
What kind of incubator do you have that it is drying them out so much? Mine is a Sportsman that does that really bad. I have had that issue with the smaller styrofoam types too though, so now I am using a plastic dish to put water in for humidity. I hate clean the mess out of the bottoms of those ones too when you are done hatching, it is a stinky, icky mess!
