Zip ties as leg bands

Since they're so cheap I just plan to cut and put a new one when mine get snug. Since I handle my chicks almost every day I will be able to keep a close eyeball on it.

I will post a picture of pheasant and a cockateil who had these darned zip ties put on and left, no one bothered to take the band off the pheasant ntill it almost lost its leg, and as for the cockateil, we found it yesterday so tight that the foot is nearly severed and so swollen he can barely perch. reason it wasnt found before, the clear zip ties blend into the birds leg color.
