Zipping IV Life

Soooo, my chick pipped at 11am this morning and began zipping at noon. It is now 13.5 hours later and the chick has been working so hard! It is my first of 16 eggs that is trying to hatch, so maybe it isn't ready? It is Day 21 and she is peeping and moving, but has been stuck for over six hours. Do I help? What should I do?

I had one do that and it needed help....it was too sticky to move.

Usually once they begin zipping they zip and hatch within half an hour....I'd say your chick might be stuck

Thank you. I quickly opened it with a friend and helped slightly and it instantly hatched. I'm really hope all is ok now. There was no blood and it was moving a lot afterwards.
