Zombie ducks

Are they taking turns as look out? Often the will all be chillin out but one will be standing stock still, staring into oblivion.

Sometimes my ducks act funny during the day, standing stock still looking at seemingly nothing. Who knows what they’re looking at! I don’t have a cam in there at night though.
