Zone 6a winter nourishment for flock of hens

Hello, zone 6a which of the following would you choose to supplement the chooks lack of greens all winter? Something to offer daily. Thank you

Maybe some soaked alfalfa or orchard pellets, I'd think the others might have too long of strands and hay isn't exactly nutrition packing.

I give a head of cabbage, or extra large carrots, or squash things they have to work at to eat.

You can also grow some oat or barley or even winter wheat in a shallow pan and give that as greens. It takes about 6 days to grow to a few inches - they really like that!
