i have followed your article on a hens that are eggbound and prolapsed, my silke, trixie is going on two days being eggbound and prolapsed and i am so afraid im going to lose her. is there anything else i can do?

Being small, Trixie may be running on low energy reserves. Give her one cup of water with one teaspoon sugar and a pinch of salt and baking soda mixed in. This will raise her glucose levels and balance her electrolytes. It could prevent her death before she recovers from egg binding.

ty you so much, i was able to get her to eat some srambled eggs,she is not interested in her layer feed or even the black fly larvae
