beautiful cat, why unfortunate? is the natural fold of the ears a detriment to the cats health or well being?

They are very cute, but the mutation that causes their ears to fold also affects the cartilage and sometimes bones in the rest of their bodies - especially if you breed two cats with a visible fold. It's so bad that some countries have banned breeding them.
Us humans always mess things up! 😩

Scottish borders gave us the Border Collie and Border Terrier on the dog side though! Both absolutely amazing and very healthy! 😁
