In the Brooder
Just wanted to share my progress with my build. It's been about 3 months in the making. I picked up 6 ISA Brown pullets from our local TSC. This is our first time owning and raising chickens. It's been a learning experience from day one. The footprint of the hen house is 4ft by 4ft. The focus was to be as cost efficient as possible and as functional and efficient as possible. I've been scrolling through pages and pages of amazing coops here and online. I like the deep liter method so I tried to encorporate that. Eventually I will be building an enclosed run that will be attached to the coop since there are predators in our area. I'll be posting pics of the build. Please feel free to give some constructive criticism and feedback.
