    "Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Thanks everyone! I know it's not a rooster because I only have the 3 hens. She is also the only one that isn't laying yet, the other 2 are. I will keep y'all up dated.

    "Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I checked to see if I could see anything on her and I didn't. I did go out and spray down their coop yesterday though just in case. I'll have to watch and see over the next few days I guess.

    "Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I don't have a rooster, just the 3 hens. I have noticed her being pecked at once or twice. I have also noticed her pecking at it a bit, that is when I started using the blue kote and giving them some scrambled eggs for the extra protein. I just didn't know if it was something serious that I...

    "Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I posted on the emergency board but maybe y'all will know. Y'all all seem so smart! So my girls are about 27 weeks old. Only one is having this issue. I started noticing that she was missing feathers and then yesterday I saw that she now has a huge bare spot! The other two are fine. I...

What is the deal? A little long

I am pretty sure, this was about a month ago, this is about the time they all started to really turn red and grow in there combs and such. I'll have to try your trick with the shell.

What is the deal? A little long

It's not so much that she is easier to catch it's that she isn't backing away and fluffing up at me being a little more aggressive. I should have added when she first pecked at my shoe I kind of bent over and was talking to her and she flapped up and pecked me right on the nose!!! My barred...

What is the deal? A little long

So I have 3 girls, about 21 weeks old. A Barred Rock (more tamed first to come up to you), Black Australorp (a little shy, hangs back), & an Easter Egger (changed her name to cray because she is a little spastic & crazy). My DH said he noticed the black australorp trying to peck at him, which...

    good news and bad news

When you say coop do you mean actually inside the coop? Or just in the coop/run. I got my first egg last Friday! And just got another one today...yay! BUT this one was laid just in their run. The other one was laid in the PDZ of the poop board. I have plastic eggs in the nest box and you can...
