Just an FYI; if you were wearing red or were carrying anything red, that will entice a roo to attack. We found that out while carrying a folgers coffee can (and me in my red barn coat). It was like a switch with the roo. No red=no aggression.

Thanks! Our coop is a prefab shed built onto a on hay wagon running gear. Super easy to move it around, which prevents the chooks from killing the grass. We use Premier1 electric fencing to keep the chickens in and the varmints out. 🙂 We splurged and put remote doors from Chicken Run on too.
Heavy molting going on with the chooks….. our barred rock put the extra effort in, but looks like he11 during the process…..
