Build a small fire if you can and put some bricks around it (or old cast iron pot) and let them warm to the desired temps. Alternate them and in the c group you can swap them out as they cool down. What I was referring to was the lock down phase in which many people will take the eggs out of the turner trays and lay the eggs on their sides 3-4 days prior to piping and hatching. You dont want the eggs laying flat and touching at 4 points (R&L sides and Pointy and Fat ends back to back side...

If you have the month olds in the brooder they might attack the younger chicks. If you have the 20 day olds separate it would be better, besides the big boys can trample the younger ones easier. As far as aggressiveness, depends on the type as some quail are not as aggressive as others. But...

Good deal, but just (ALL) be aware there are others that might come up in google that does have the other pesticides in it as well (and usually cost more). NOT Suitable for animals or humans.

75 watts is fine... I thought it was one of those new fancy colored heat lamp bulbs that crank out 250 watts.. (which is too hot for a coolerbator even with 3 fans).
