Any of you SE PA'ers heading to Wyebrook Farm tomorrow for their music festival? I'm excited to see some banjo pickin' while enjoying a beverage or two!
I am by no means an expert but the cold front may have something to do with it. My girls will stop laying if we go from a week of warm weather to a sudden dip in temperature. They are fine if the change is gradual but they go on strike with a 15-20 degree swing within 24 hours.
I figured I'd bump this thread to see if anyone has any good podcast recommendations. Anything related to raising chickens or homesteading in general. So what are y'all listening to?
I understand being apprehensive about it at first but with some people there isn't even the willingness to try. I don't know, I guess I just take it too personally.
I keep running into this more and more! It is absolutely bizarre. I have been told that it just "groosses them out". Meanwhile, these same people enjoy store bought eggs every morning. I guess we should stop telling them the eggs are from our chickens and just say they are "free range farm fresh...
