Is there any major size difference between any of the ducks? From what I see in the pictures, most of them look like males, but pictures can make things look very different.
I have had many chickens and many ducks, but now I no longer have chickens, I found that I like waterfowl better. To me they are easier to care for and are just plain cool.
Mine have never been quiet. They are the loudest geese I have ever known. I have met other people with africans, and theirs were not near as loud as mine, they honk all the time, usually at the canadians that have taken up on my pond.
Today I candeled my call duck eggs in the incubator. It has been three days since I put them in, and they are starting to develope blood vessels. I am glad to know that they are fertile. Hopefully they will continue to develope and hatch.
My muscovies usually make their own nests and choose their own places to lay. Placing decoy eggs has never worked for me, they always seem to avoid the places where I put the nests with decoy eggs.

I have five call ducks, two males and three females, and have had no luck getting their eggs to hatch. The eggs are fertile I just dont seem to be able to hatch them. My incubators have automatic turners, but would it be batter to hand turn? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
