Made a 55 gallon one inch pipe with ten nipples. It lasts a good 3 weeks with 25 barred rocks so far probably go full month!! It makes life real easy now days.

We keep a bowl just for that run warm water In it and let them soak for minute or two gently rubbing it. Water needs to be fairly warm. Dab off with paper towel and lower light in brooder for 30 minutes or so. I keep my floor temp around 102-105 with two lights if they got plenty room to get...

K we thought so but sold 20 chicks to a friend and she claimed we fed them to early is why she lost 3 chicks a week later. Out of 165 chicks at ten days old before leaving our home only 2 died on us. Thanks for info.

Where hatching another batch of dominecker in next couple days started lockdown early this morning. We had a friend tell us that your not supposed to feed chicks for 36 hours after there born. I would think the sooner the better.
