sorry been working and havent been on much. To answer your question no thats not the cups the ones i have are ones that thread in to pvc and they have a little yellow tab that the chickens peck at which causes the water to be released. Its a gravity feed system. Hope this makes sense :-)
Hi I use the cups. I have them plumbed off of a 55 gallon barrel. I absolutely love them! You do have to clean them out every so often but they are soooooo much easier then the water buckets. The chickens learn quickly how to work them, even the duck! The chickens cant tip them and dont scratch...
Hi All i have a problem and am in need if some advice. One of my hens is eating the eggs. She has been eating 1 to 2 a day for about a week now. I read about filling an egg with mustard as a way of discovering who the egg eater is, has anyone tried this? Do the other hens leave the mustard...
I would call randall burkey company first to see if what you want is in store they do most of their buisness through phone orders but do carry some in store.
Theres 3 feed stores that I'm aware of in Boerne. TSC, Jonny's feed, and Wheeler's feed and outfitters I usually get stuff at TSC but I have gotten things from the others. There is also Randall Burkey company which is probably what your thinking of :-)
We have several squirrels in the trees in the yard so that is a possibility I hadnt thought of that. I always think of squirrels as up in the trees. im really hoping its something not scary or stinky to deal with. I can handle most things but i dont want to be sprayed. :( I haven't noticed any...
thanks I hope its a rabbit :) those are at least cute! I can deal with cute the others well :( i would have to leave them for my husband to deal with. I put peanut butter in the trap hopefully i wont catch my dogs with it I have 3 very small pomeranians that can fit in the trap :)
