It's been in the upper 40s for a high and I've been getting 2-3 eggs per day from 5 hens. But today was in the 50s and NO EGGS! I think they were mad because I kept them locked up all day because they kept jumping the fence and laying around the yard.

2/5 for 3 days in a row..that's actually good for what they've been doing! Keep finding eggs all over the yard though and every time I do they move the nest. I'm thinking there may be more eggs out there. None are molting and 2 just started laying so all 5 are laying now.

I know y'all probably laugh at us southerners for being so sensitive to cold. But let me tell you... A wet cold is the nastiest thing! I wish we had dry cold weather! Oh well...
