Do cayugas start with brown feathers like a rouen before they turn all black? I have a duckling that I was sold as a Rouen, but was told it is a cayuga, because it was all black, but now at almost 5 weeks the feathers that have come in look just like my Rouen's.

yes, there is ventilation. the roof has ventilation as does the floor and the door doesn't seal shut, so I imagine that adds a smidge too.

thanks, I was thinking it might be a bit short after we saw some adults the other day. Fortunately they are out all day right now, so that gives us a little time to do the modifications.
