We hatched 6 eggs...the last one hatched Sunday....the 7th eggs should have hatched on Sunday...it doesn't peep..but when I candle it I see it breathing...I did poke a small hole in top of egg yesterday. So I figure the chick is very weak..probably something wrong...do I help it hatch ...thanks

Hi...i have 6 buffs (3- 1 year old, 3- 2 years old)..they almost stopped laying 3 months ago..i would get maybe 1 egg a day...now i get 1 large egg and 3 very small eggs..is this normal?

1 of the eggs that i brought in after the hen stopeed sitting on, is chirping and rocking...but no first holes in shell..the shell does look like a thick one....can it be too thick for the chick to get out?....i just dont want it to die because it was stuck

she has 6 eggs under her...i blocked the door to the coop so the other chickens can not get to them...the nest box is about 2 feet from the floor so should i wait until all eggs have hatched and then put all the babies on the floor of the coop?...i wouldnt want any to fall.

We have had a lot of gnats and flies in the chicken run. What is the best way to get rid of them? We have gravel in the run to help with the moisture. I was hoping this would also help with the smell, but we have a lot of little gnats .
