I just bought some chicks at tsc and rural king. 5 of them were marked as cornish rocks. Are these meat birds? If so can you tell them apart from other chicks? We also got 3 white leghorns and they look alike.
Do you leave oyester shells in for you chickens all the time or just once in awhile?
I currently feed my adult chickens cracked corn but want to start feeding them something else also. What kind of feed do you recommend?
In April I am planning to build my first coop. My year old chickens are currently liveing in a dog kennel. Plus I'm hopeing to eventually add my babies. So it will have at least 24 chickens in it. My brother may help but if he doesn't I'm on my own. Any advice would be welcome. I can't afford a...

I have been researching incubators for awhile. It's something I've always wanted to try. So next month I'm going to start. Any advice wound be welcome. Also I only want to start with a few eggs since I am new to this. Should I get eggs locally or order them and have them shipped.
