Unfortunately, I do not have a real gauge. However, I did suspect the humidity to be high and took action by reducing the water compartment level and by getting rid of the condensation buildup.

Thanks for all your help! After opening the other two eggs, another one appeared infertile or not developed at all and one had a chick inside but it looked to have only been about sixteen days old (just getting in position to absorb yolk sac).

Finished first one and it was all just yolk. I guess it was never fertilized. Should I carry on to the others?

Ok, and if I discover that the chick is somehow alive, should I place back in the incubator?

How would you recommend doing that? Do you think I should crack and pull the shell off the membrane and see what is inside?
